Several RISO screen prints from Studio Bon are printed in Japan on paper made from straw grown on Mount Fuji: Fujiwarashi . The straw is cut, dried then mixed with the paper pulp. All that remains is to print! For me, it is a unique and unique way to highlight the quality of Japanese paper and to promote my visuals.
How can you be sure?
If you look closely at the paper you will be able to see small organic impurities which are none other than straw residue from this sacred mountain.
Which posters are affected?
For the release of my second book "Bon Voyage Tokyo" I will release several posters using this paper. To find out if a poster is printed on Fujiwara paper, simply consult the product description. In general, these premium creations are found in the “ RISOprints and Screenprints” section.
Did you contribute to my crowdfunding for my first book “Bon Voyage Japan”? So your limited edition pink and blue Fuji postcard is printed on this paper.
